تیر روز از تیرماه برابر با 13 تیر در گاهشماری ایرانی

چون آن تیر ِدر هوا پَران که آرش تیرانداز - بهترین تیرانداز ایرانی -
از کوه «اَیریو خشتوثَ» به سوی کوه «خوانونـَت» بیانداخت ...اوستا - تشتر یشت، کردهی چهارم
 «جشن تیرگان» از بزرگترین جشنهای ایران باستان است در ستایش و گرامیداشت «تیشتَر»(تِشتَر - تیر - شباهنگ - شِعرای یَمانی)، ستارهی باران آور در باورهای مردمی، و درخشانترین ستارهی آسمان که در نیمهی دوم سال، همزمان با افزایش بارندگیها، در آسمان سرِ شبی دیده میشود.

(July 1st), is the 10th of Tir, in the Solar Iranian Calendar.
The Month of Tir is the month of Patriotism and Struggle for Freedom & Democracy.
- This day is the Tir Rooz of the Month of Tir, and the Tirgan Festival Day. One of the oldest Iranian Festivals from the ancient times.
- This day is The Water & Rain Festival (Jashn-e Aabrizaan va Baaraan).
- This day is the Arash day, The Day Arash-e Kamangir, the Mythical Legendary Iranian Patriot gave his life to preserve his country's freedom & borders against foreign invaders.
- This day is the Babak Day, the anniversary of Babak-e Khorramdin Birthday, the great and legendary Iranian Hero who, in 1250 years ago, lead the Iran's uprising and fought the Arab Occupiers for over 20 years.
- And in our time, the month of Tir is the month of uprising of the Iranian Students against Mullahs tyranny (18th of Tir of Ten years ago).
- And...again, We are going to celebrate the July 4th
- (The US Independence Day).
